This article examines the digital transformations and the role of Industrial Revolutions 4.0 and 5.0 in control engineering education. Given the growing importance of these transformations and the need for new skills, fundamental changes in teaching methods and content delivery are essential. This study explores innovative educational methods such as flipped learning, problem-based learning, team-based learning, the use of virtual laboratories, and remote laboratories, among others. Additionally, a review of research and projects conducted in this field is presented. As a case study, the experiences and results from implementing these methods at Shiraz University are examined. The findings indicate that these approaches have significantly improved the learning process and increased student satisfaction.
